Allen,

It has been 1 year since we got that fatefull call that you were missing. I will NEVER forget the feeling in my stomach as we drove up to your house, and having Mark walk up and down the creek looking for you. We miss you more than ever, and love you with all our hearts. Please give Mark the strenght to go on today as he reflects on today and thinks about you. Please give the girls strenght to remember what a special man you were. I love you and miss you everyday.

Hi Allen,

Well, we are going on 3 months and its still just as hard. I'm leaving you a message today because Jessica and I are going out of town, Mark has to work, and Ashley is going on a church retreat to Tyler.

We miss you and Naydean, and Terry, and dad so much. We will all betogether some day.

Well Allen...It has been 2 months today since you grew your Angel wings. It seems like it has been forever. The pain is still so raw. We all miss you so much. I never would have believed in a million years that it would be Mother Nature that took you from us.

I am thankful for the 18 years I had with you in my life, and I will cherish every memory I have. Thank you for letting me into your family and accepting me as your daughter. I miss you so much!! 

I wanted to take a minute to mention a person very close to my father who was not listed on the front of this web page. His name is Jerry lee and he was my fathers grandson and close friend since very early in his life. It is impossible to mention all the names of all the people who touched dad's life but at the same time Jerry Lee was near and dear to dad and vice versa. Although Jerry Lee and I didn't see each other a lot growing up, we shared an incredible bond with my father and mother (Naydean) and I wanted to personally thank him for that! My dad and Naydean shared many stories with me involving Jerry Lee and I am sure they did the same to him about me. Words cannot describe how much Jerry Lee meant to my dad!

It's been a month today and it seems like an eternity. No more can I talk with you every couple days and share our stories. Never again can I go fishing with my best friend and father. This is supposed to get easier, but it just doesn't, it seems to get tougher and tougher. I know it will and am gratefull of the time we had together. Please know that I am proud to have called you DAD!
